Another No.1 article on Helium! The book review I wrote yesterday, on Ernest Hemingway's novella The Old Man and the Sea, has gone to number 1, of 6 articles, overnight!

Hi, hi, hi all my lovely friends, hope you are all well! I am so excited right now!!!! I can now announce that my designs are complete for the range of clothing I have been creating for over a year!!! Just to let you know all the designs in the first phase coincide with the band name, the album name and songs from the CD, which I can now reveal is a concept album called INSOMNIA!!! The clothing range is called 'INSOMNIA BY MARILYN JUSTINE' and I have designed everything myself.

The colour scheme is black and red with the occassional bit of white and grey, and the range reflects youth, rock music and independence! I believe that most (if not all) you lovely people on our friends list would LOVE the deisgns I have got for you and really just want to see who might be interested in getting their hands on them.

I have shown all my designs to Cindy Bailey who works with Audrey Kitching in LA and she is VERY enthusiastic about them all, I quote Cindy here "Well you certainly seem well deserving of your 'Young Entrepreneurs of the
Year' award. Your work is great and your pitch is well thought out. Good luck and keep up the great work!"

I can now reveal the artwork for the CD and the design which inflences a lot of the clothing range. Let me know what you guys think and we will also be creating buzznet and myspace pages with details of the designs and how you can order then from any country in the world. I can't seem to be able to attach the designs to this page so I'll post them as pictures, go take a look and leave comments if you like them or if you are interested in purchasing. Don't forget to buzz them ;-)

Good Charlotte played The Carling Academy in Glasgow last night in style. The show (and the atmosphere) was arguably better than the last time they played and lead singer Joel Madden had the sweat to prove it, noting that he was sweating so much "you can see the tattoo on my back through my shirt!" They played all their hits, forthcoming single The River and highlights from their new CD Good Morning Revival, most notably the track All Black. I think it's fair to say a great night was had by all, and the bands attempts at Scottish accents was the funniest part of the evening.

A shout out has to go to my friend Lorainne who adores the band and had an awesome time to last time they came but was unable to attend this year as she is waiting for a defibulator to be installed in her heart. I was thinking of you when I was there sweetie, I know how much you love the twins! Take care.

You guys are awesome! The amount of adds, friend requests, messages, comments, notes and buzzes over the past 2 days since we signed up has just been awesome. You guys are the best, I can't wait for you to hear our stuff.

Your pages are so cool too, you are a creative bunch. The titles of your pages, your usernames, photos and drawings, etc. are really great!!!

Update as of today is that I have brutally gone through a huge pile of completed songs that were 'potential' tracks to work on and have now got it down to 15 tracks to really focus on getting melodies for, which I think show our music in a diverse way but also show who we are. Jon is getting a new window for the 'recording room' in his flat which should be in in around a month and after that hopefully we should get some tracks uploaded for you.

The creation of a band...

This band has a name, it has 400 songs on paper and it has an idea in it's head. From here on in this page will be dedicated to the creation of the band from an idea inside someone's head to an actual product. No songs have as yet been recorded, lyrics await melody. This is like a video diary only it is in the form of a blog. Most of all it is the creation of a dream. It will make more sense as time goes on but for now I will leave you with the name MARILYN JUSTINE
